After flying high against Ennis on Friday, The Colony came back down to earth. The Colony Cougars took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mansfield Timberview Wolves on Friday. The Cougars' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The Colony got a good showing from Sam Campbell, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Josiah Rojas was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

The Colony's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Mansfield Timberview, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, The Colony will take on Haltom in a tournament on Saturday. As for Mansfield Timberview, they will be taking part in a tournament against Tomball Kings at 5:30 p.m. on March 7th.
