Basketball Recap: Memphis School of Excellence - Cordova Takes a Loss

Memphis School of Excellence - Cordova was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 61-33 loss at the hands of the Middleton Tigers.

Memphis School of Excellence - Cordova lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Derrick Fason, who posted eight points and eight boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Zyion Yates, who put up six points and five rebounds.

Memphis School of Excellence - Cordova's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Middleton, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Memphis School of Excellence - Cordova will welcome KIPP Collegiate at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Middleton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jackson South Side at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
