Basketball Recap: Daveon Smith's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Evansville Central over Evansville Memorial

Evansville Central suffered their closest loss since February 19, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of the Evansville Memorial Tigers by a score of 49-46. The defeat continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Several Bears players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short.
