Basketball Recap: Palo Alto Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

It's playoff time, and Palo Alto had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took down the Enterprise Hornets 54-38 on Thursday. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Hornets are ranked 329th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Jorell Clark, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds. The matchup was his seventh in a row with at least 19 points. Nicholas Feitzinger was another key player, putting up nine points.

The win made it two in a row for Palo Alto and bumps their season record up to 24-5. As for Enterprise, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-14.

Palo Alto has already played their next game, a 63-52 victory against Christian Brothers on the 8th. Enterprise does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
