Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brookwood). They blew past the Valwood Valiants 4-1 on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for Brookwood as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

They hit Valwood with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sara Cameron Sullivan (2), Klaire Von Hellens, and Pierce Garland.

Brookwood pushed their record up to 4-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Valwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Brookwood will take on Tiftarea Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valwood, they will face off against Deerfield-Windsor at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Deerfield-Windsor will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Valwood surely won't give up without a fight.
