Millington Central was led to victory by Kaitlyn Holmes and Alana Whiten. Holmes scored 11 points along with six rebounds and six steals, while Whiten scored 20 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Holmes has scored all season. Ayanna Ransom was another key contributor, scoring six points along with four steals.
Millington Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 19 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season. As for Covington, they now have a losing record at 15-16.
