Softball Recap: Brindlee Mountain Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Brindlee Mountain's offense. They came up short against the Douglas Eagles on Friday, falling 8-0. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Brindlee Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Douglas, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

Brindlee Mountain and Douglas will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time Brindlee Mountain sees the field they'll take on Asbury at 4:30 p.m. on the 31st. As for Douglas, their break will end when they face Sardis at 4:30 p.m. on April 1.
