Basketball Game Preview: Ida Bluestreaks vs. Grosse Ile Red Devils

After both having extra time off, the Ida Bluestreaks and the Grosse Ile Red Devils will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Two weeks ago, Ida was able to grind out a solid win over Clinton, taking the game 60-52.

Meanwhile, Grosse Ile entered their tilt with Taylor Prep last Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Tigers 62-42.

Ida's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Grosse Ile, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Ida strolled past Grosse Ile when the teams last played back in January by a score of 61-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ida since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
