Soccer Recap: Tippecanoe Takes a Loss

If Tippecanoe was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of West Carrollton on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Devils fell just short of the Indian Hill Braves by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Tippecanoe can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 220th, while Indian Hill are ranked 19th).

Tippecanoe's loss dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Indian Hill, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0-2.

Looking ahead, Tippecanoe will take on Fairborn at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tippecanoe's defense better be ready for this one: Fairborn have averaged an impressive 5 goals per game this season. As for Indian Hill, they will be playing at home against Finneytown at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
