Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Navarro). They were the clear victors by a 48-27 margin over the Smithville Tigers on Friday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Navarro's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB eight times. It was truly a group effort as Colin Geipel, Lane Black, Braddock Gallini, and Mason Harvey picked up two apiece. Navarro is 2-1 when Geipel posts one or more sacks, but 1-5 otherwise.

Navarro's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Smithville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
