Basketball Recap: Goldwater Comes Up Short

Goldwater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 54-35 bruising from the Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks.

Goldwater's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Desert Sunrise, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Goldwater will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Greenway at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Desert Sunrise, they and Moon Valley will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
