Last Wednesday, Southern Columbia Area didn't have quite enough to beat Mifflinburg and fell 62-59. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Bloomsburg strolled past Hughesville with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 64-47. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 269th, while the Spartans are ranked 655th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Southern Columbia Area's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Bloomsburg, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-3.
