Volleyball Recap: Memorial Victorious

Memorial hadn't done well against Fort Recovery recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Roughriders came out on top against the Indians by a score of 3-1. For the Roughriders, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

The victory didn't come easy: Fort Recovery scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 23-25, 25-20.

Memorial's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Memorial will challenge Bath at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Roughriders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Fort Recovery, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against National Trail at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
