Soccer Game Preview: St. Edward's vs. Master's Academy + How To Watch

St. Edward is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Wednesday. They will be playing at home against the Master's Academy Patriots at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Master's Academy will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: St. Edward's extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Pirates never let Indian River Charter get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. Give St. Edward's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Their offense was hitting Indian River Charter from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Lily Jensen led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Master's Academy made easy work of Atlantic Christian on Tuesday and carried off a 6-1 victory. With Master's Academy ahead 4-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Master's Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for St. Edward's, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1-1.

St. Edward's couldn't quite get it done against Master's Academy in their previous meeting back in January as they fell 2-0. Can the Pirates avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
