Basketball Recap: Walsh Jesuit Comes Up Short

Walsh Jesuit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a hard 48-32 fall against the Barberton Magics. The match marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Walsh Jesuit's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Barberton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Walsh Jesuit will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Riverside at 3:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for Barberton, they will be home for the holidays to greet Aurora at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Barberton is facing Aurora at the right time seeing as Aurora is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
