Soccer Recap: Woodmore Takes a Loss

Woodmore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Clyde Fliers. Woodmore were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Clyde earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Woodmore's goal came courtesy of Ryne Donley, who's now up to three this season.

Woodmore's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Clyde, their victory bumped their record up to 2-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodmore will host Riverdale at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Clyde, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Old Fort at 5:00 p.m.
