Basketball Game Preview: Newberry Indians vs. St. Ignace Saints

Newberry hasn't had much luck against St. Ignace recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Newberry Indians will host the St. Ignace Saints at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Friday, Newberry took a blow against Brimley, falling 75-45. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, St. Ignace was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 38-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sault Area.

Newberry's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for St. Ignace, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
