Ysleta entered their tilt with Mountain View on Friday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They put the hurt on the Lobos with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-11, 25-16.

Abby Martinez paced Ysleta's offense, picking up 14 kills. Martinez got some help from Kiwii Berry and her 15 assists. Martinez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Ysleta's record is now 24-8. As for Mountain View, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12-1.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Ysleta and Riverside will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:35 p.m. on the 14th. As for Mountain View, they are taking a road trip to challenge Fabens at 6:35 p.m. on the 14th. The Lobos are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
