Basketball Recap: Brandon Kennedy Key Part of a Team Effort in Yellowjackets Win

Elysian Fields's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Joaquin Rams as the Elysian Fields Yellowjackets made off with a 56-33 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 85-25 back in January.

Elysian Fields got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brandon Kennedy out in front who posted 18 points. Kennedy has been hot for a while, having posted 16 or more points the last 14 times he's played. Colby Stephens was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Elysian Fields' record is now 13-17. As for Joaquin, their defeat was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.
