Flag Football Recap: Plainfield North's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

The Plainfield North Tigers lost to the Yorkville Foxes at home by a 34-15 margin on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois flag football rankings (they are ranked 97th, while the Foxes are ranked 23rd).

Plainfield North's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-6. As for Yorkville, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Plainfield North is set to take on their familiar foe Oswego at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Yorkville will face off against rival Bolingbrook at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Foxes 11, the Raiders 13.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
