The Loudoun County Captains and the Rock Ridge Phoenix will face off at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Loudoun County is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since December 18, 2024 on Wednesday. They came up short against Dominion, falling 81-60. The Captains have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Rock Ridge came up short against Heritage on Wednesday and fell 48-36. The contest marked the Phoenix's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Rock Ridge's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Loudoun County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Loudoun County came up short against Rock Ridge in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 55-44.
