            Volleyball Recap: United Golden Eagles vs. Edison Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            There's no place like home for United, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Thursday. They walked away with  a   2-0  win over the Edison Wildcats  on Thursday.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: United took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13,  25-9.
 Maelee Smith paced United's offense, picking up seven kills. Smith got some help from  Rileah Phillips and her seven assists.  Aurianna Cusick controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
United is  on a roll lately: they've  won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record  this season. As for Edison, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matchups. That's still a better percentage than their 5-16 record  this season.
 United wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  3-1  defeat against Newton Falls on the 16th. As for Edison, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  2-0  loss against East Liverpool on the 9th.
