Football Recap: Pocahontas Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Pocahontas kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a hard 20-6 fall against the Sioux Central Rebels. The Indians lost against the Rebels in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 43-6 score last time.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pocahontas will host Lawton-Bronson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sioux Central, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against West Sioux at 7:00 p.m. The matchup will give the Rebels their first taste of in-conference action this season.
