Softball Recap: Whitehall-Yearling Takes a Loss

If Whitehall-Yearling was riding high fresh off their 16-0 takedown of Harvest Prep on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams lost 12-1 to the Grandview Heights Bobcats on Friday. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Whitehall-Yearling saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Stace, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Whitehall-Yearling's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Grandview Heights, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Whitehall-Yearling is set to face off against their familiar foe Worthington Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Grandview Heights will challenge rival Bexley at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
