Turpin's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Milford, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-5 record.

Turpin might still be hurting after the 42-21 defeat they got from Milford in their previous meeting back in October of 2023. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Turpin was down 21-0.
