Basketball Recap: Silver Stage Takes a Loss

Silver Stage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were beaten by the West Wendover Wolverines 67-32. The Nighthawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-16.

It was another big night for Adryan Carlos, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 boards for West Wendover. The matchup was Carlos' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Estaban Correa, who posted eight points along with six assists and three steals.

Silver Stage's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for West Wendover, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 21-4.

Silver Stage has already played their next contest (against North Tahoe), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West Wendover will face off against Incline at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
