Football Game Preview: The First Academy vs. Calvary Christian

The First Academy have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Calvary Christian at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.

Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, The First Academy beat Orlando Christian Prep 20-15 two weeks ago. Senior Rolous Frazier III was the offensive standout of the match for The First Academy, as he rushed for 177 yards and 1 touchdown.

Meanwhile, it was all tied up at the half for Calvary Christian and Zephyrhills Christian Academy last week, but Calvary Christian stepped up in the second half. Calvary Christian walked away with a 14-7 victory over Zephyrhills Christian Academy. The success made it back-to-back wins for Calvary Christian.

Their wins bumped Calvary Christian to 3-1 and The First Academy to 2-0. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Calvary Christian and The First Academy clash.
