Volleyball Recap: Treasure Coast Comes Up Short

Treasure Coast was the 2-0 winner over Atlantic Christian when they last played one another back in September of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans lost 3-0 to the Sharks on Thursday. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-18.

Atlantic Christian was led to victory by Madelyn Gonzalez and Neenah Harripersaud. Gonzalez had 30 digs, while Harripersaud had 36 assists. Harripersaud has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more assists the last four times she's played.

Treasure Coast's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Atlantic Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Treasure Coast will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South Fork at 6:00 p.m. on October 1. As for Atlantic Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Worth Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
