Basketball Recap: Kaylen Henry's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Sun Valley over Parkwood

Sun Valley was the 51-35 winner over Parkwood when they last played one another back in November, but their luck changed this time around. The Sun Valley Spartans took a 45-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Parkwood Wolf Pack.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kaylen Henry, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Zoe Bradley, who posted seven points and five steals.

Parkwood's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooke Fowler, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. Jordan Vaughn was another key player, putting up ten points and five rebounds.

Sun Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Parkwood, their win bumped their record up to an identical 3-5.
