Soccer Recap: Bishop Snyder Comes Up Short

If Bishop Snyder was feeling good fresh off their 8-0 takedown of First Coast back in December of 2024, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bishop Snyder Cardinals lost 5-2 to the Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors on Tuesday.

Iliana Figueroa wasn't going to let Trinity Christian Academy walk away unscathed as she scored both of Bishop Snyder's goals, bringing her season total up to nine goals.

Bishop Snyder's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-3-2. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-7-1.

Bishop Snyder will head out to challenge Trinity Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against University Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
