Basketball Game Preview: FAU High Owls vs. Somerset Prep

The FAU High Owls will take on Somerset Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (FAU High has three straight wins, Somerset Prep has nine straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

FAU High is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with an 80-70 victory over Berean Christian on Monday. While the Owls didn't have the best season last year (they finished 1-23), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Somerset Prep played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Somerset Academy 61-27. The contest marked Somerset Prep's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

FAU High pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.7 points per game. As for Somerset Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
