Soccer Recap: Northridge Has No Trouble Against Alcott

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northridge). Everything went their way against the Alcott Wildcats on Friday as they made off with a 7-0 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

The win was the third in a row for Northridge, bringing their record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three matches. As for Alcott, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northridge will take on Latin at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Latin will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each game than the last. As for Alcott, they will challenge Wells at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
