Softball Recap: Harvest Community's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

Harvest Community has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.83 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They came up short against the Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors, falling 10-0. The Warriors were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the five games prior), but the Conquerors' pitchers proved too tough.

Harvest Community moved to 15-3 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Looking ahead, Harvest Community will be taking part in a tournament against Windermere Prep at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lakers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Bolles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
