Softball Recap: Clear Fork Comes Up Short

Clear Fork lost a heartbreaker to Madison Comprehensive when they met back in April of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Monday. The Colts fell just short of the Rams by a score of 3-2. The Colts were not able to make up for their loss to the Rams from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Clear Fork saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mya Perry, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI. Katrina Rogers was another, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

Clear Fork's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Madison Comprehensive, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clear Fork will venture away from home to face off against Highland at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games the Fighting Scots have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Madison Comprehensive, they will head out to take on Findlay at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
