Basketball Recap: Pilot Rock Skates Past Griswold with Ease

Pilot Rock posted their biggest victory since January 3rd on Friday. They claimed a resounding 61-33 win over the Griswold Grizzlies. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rockets also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Pilot Rock and bumps their season record up to 11-6. As for Griswold, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Pilot Rock will square off against Nixyaawii Community at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Nixyaawii Community knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Pilot Rock likes a good challenge. As for Griswold, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 69-48 loss against Echo on the 25th.
