Hudson had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Wednesday. They skirted past the Twinsburg Tigers 31-29. The 31-point effort marked the Explorers' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Jaci Hutton and Giana Taylor certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Hutton posted 11 points along with seven boards and three steals, while Taylor had six points and three steals.

Hudson pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Twinsburg, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hudson will challenge Wadsworth at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Twinsburg, they will take on Nordonia at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
