Volleyball Recap: Kossuth Beats Winona for Their 12th Straight Win

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Kossuth walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Winona Tigers on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Aggies are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 12 straight.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Kossuth took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-15, 25-14.

Dallyn Haupt paced Kossuth's offense, picking up 17 kills. Haupt got some help from Brenyn Wilbanks and her 32 assists.

Kossuth's victory bumped their record up to 27-4-2. As for Winona, their loss dropped their record down to 16-10.

Looking ahead, Kossuth will challenge Booneville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Winona does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
