Gavin Albright was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his five plate appearances with two RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Tanner Stroup was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Joseph Speece, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
Altoona's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Cumberland Valley, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.
