Volleyball Game Preview: Forest Wildcats vs. Hagerty Huskies + Official Tickets

The Forest Wildcats will venture away from home to square off against the Hagerty Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Forest heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to DeLand. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Forest was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made DeLand work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-20, 25-22.

Despite the defeat, Forest saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Addison Owens had ten digs and two aces. Gracie Martineau also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Meanwhile, Hagerty faced Winter Park in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Huskies came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 25-15.

Hagerty's loss dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.
