Basketball Recap: Lakota West Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Lakota West came into Wednesday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 47-34 win over the Hamilton Big Blue on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for the Firebirds, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lakota West's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Hamilton, their loss was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Lakota West will take on Sycamore in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hamilton and Lakota East will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on December 18th.
