Basketball Recap: Deckerville Comes Up Short

Deckerville lost against Cass City back in December of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Deckerville Eagles took a hard 49-31 fall against the Cass City Red Hawks.

Deckerville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cass City, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Deckerville will head out to challenge Owendale-Gagetown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cass City, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will square off against Laker at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
