Georgetown hadn't done well against Calvin recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 9-4. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Cougars back in March, they had to take a 9-2 defeat.

Georgetown is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season. As for Calvin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Georgetown will host Weston at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Calvin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harrisonburg at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
