Volleyball Recap: Brawley Victorious

Brawley posted their closest win since September 13th on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Bonita Vista Barons 2-1.

MIa Mendez paced Brawley's offense, picking up seven kills. Mendez got some help from Lucca Rubin and her nine assists.

Brawley's win bumped their record up to 20-9. As for Bonita Vista, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Brawley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Flagstaff on the 10th. As for Bonita Vista, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Faith Lutheran on the 10th.
