Basketball Game Preview: Southern Coast Academy Regional Rams vs. IMG Academy State Ascenders

The Southern Coast Academy Regional Rams will head out to face off against the IMG Academy State Ascenders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Southern Coast Academy Regional came up short against Horizon on Tuesday, falling 73-47. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, IMG Academy State came up short against Bull City Prep National last Sunday and fell 80-72. While losing is never fun, the Ascenders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 260th in Florida, while the Bulls are ranked 19th in North Carolina).

Southern Coast Academy Regional's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for IMG Academy State, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.
