Soccer Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Fulshear

After losing to Alief Elsik the last time they met, Fulshear decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Fulshear Chargers came out on top against the Alief Elsik Rams by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Chargers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 89th, while the Rams are ranked fourth).

The win made it two in a row for Fulshear and bumps their season record up to 14-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Alief Elsik, their loss dropped their record down to 16-2.

Fulshear does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alief Elsik, they will welcome Alief Taylor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
