Capital is 9-1 against Los Alamos since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Capital Jaguars will take on the Los Alamos Hilltoppers at 7:00 p.m. Capital is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

On Friday, Capital took a blow against Rio Rancho, falling 84-41. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Mexico basketball rankings (they are ranked 64th, while the Rams are ranked 14th).

Meanwhile, Los Alamos scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 70-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Belen.

Capital's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-8. As for Los Alamos, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Capital took their win against Los Alamos when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 63-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Capital since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
