Wethersfield came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Rockridge Rockets. The Flying Geese have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rockets, too.

While Wethersfield might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Rockridge scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19.

Wethersfield's victory bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Rockridge, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-11.
