After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Willamina, Blanchet Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Jefferson Lions. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cavaliers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Blanchet Catholic let Finley Bartels and Carly Wise run wild. Bartels went 1-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI, while Wise went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those three RBI gave Bartels a new career-high. Kinzley Serverance was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Blanchet Catholic was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Blanchet Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Jefferson, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.
