Soccer Recap: Asheboro Hybrid Academy Has No Trouble Against High Point Christian Academy

On Thursday, the Asheboro Hybrid Academy Warriors got the win against the High Point Christian Academy Cougars by a conclusive 6-1. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won three games by five goals or more so far this season.

McKenna Voncannon and Chloe Charles scored all six of Asheboro Hybrid Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Asheboro Hybrid Academy and bumps their season record up to 6-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those two matches. As for High Point Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Asheboro Hybrid Academy will challenge Gospel Light Christian at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Gospel Light Christian their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for High Point Christian Academy, they will take on University Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
