Soccer Recap: Highland Park Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hope Academy on Thursday, Highland Park came back down to earth. The Scots fell just short of the South St. Paul Packers by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. If Highland Park were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to South St. Paul when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Highland Park's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for South St. Paul, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Highland Park wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against St. Anthony Village on the 25th. As for South St. Paul, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Academy of Holy Angels on the 25th.
